STARZEN (AMERICA), INC.

370 Amapola Avenue, Suite 211, Torrance, CA 90501 USA

STARZEN (AMERICA), INC. based in Los Angeles, sources beef, pork, chicken meat, and other by-products from North and Latin America, to deliver them to homes and restaurants in Japan. In addition to exports to Japan, the company also engages in U.S. domestic sales on the west coast, where the food service industry is booming. By handling a wide variety of meats, we can meet a diversity of culinary needs. With the increasing globalization of meat procurement, we are working to boost cost competitiveness and our stable supply capabilities based on collaboration with group companies. We are working closely with local meat processing companies in close proximity to production sites to collaboratively develop high value added products and to provide quality control guidance. Furthermore, in order to respond flexibly to the demand for Japanese Wagyu beef, which has grown rapidly in the United States in recent years, we are working on expanding the Wagyu business with the Japanese export division, focusing on local market research.

We will continue in our efforts to provide high quality meat based on the commitment of Starzen cultivated over many years, in order to deliver safe, reliable and delicious meat to our customers.

In order to provide safe and reliable beef, it is essential to conduct checks at the production site. We regularly visit production plants—entering to check all manufacturing processes from production to shipment—to ensure that products sent to Japan are manufactured properly.

In addition, feedback from customers is shared with suppliers. We undertake proactive communication and strive in cooperation to procure safer and higher quality beef.

Starzen Europe ApS

STARZEN EUROPE ApS

Palle Juul-Jensens Boulevard 82, DK-8200 Aarhus N. Denmark

STARZEN EUROPE ApS was established in Denmark in June 2009 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Starzen Co., Ltd. with the main objective of exporting meat and processed meat products from Europe to Japan, as well as collecting EU livestock and market information.

It currently deals with suppliers across the EU(i.e.Denmark, France, and Spain). In addition, we are contacting other companies that are approved for exports to Japan, and are working to develop new suppliers and to gather information.
In recent years, due to the diversification of customers' needs and globalization, the business has changed and its scope has expanded to incorporate development and sales of primary processed products such as sliced meat, as well as export from the EU to countries such as China and Singapore.

We will continue to source high quality products from the EU while responding flexibly to changes in the economic and political environment, such as withdrawal of the UK from the EU, as well as issues unique to the livestock industry, such as export/import restrictions or disposal orders imposed due to epidemics, and social changes such as the reduction in the farming population.
